There are given the basic stages of construction of ore-preparation complex (basic subdivision of Sokolovsko-Sarbaiskoe Mining and Concentration Production Association on processing of iron ore and production of marketable iron ore concentrate). There is given the description of measures on reconstruction and modernization of basic subdivisions of the complex (stages of grinding, concentration and drying from 2000 till 2013). There are also described the prospects of further development, such as construction of grinding-concentration complex of high-qualitative concentrate, intended for manufacturing of new type of products (high-briquetted iron). New concentration complex is intended on processing of 20 mln. t of ore per year and production of 7.5 mln. t of concentrate, containing 69% of iron. Technological scheme of complex includes operations of grinding, dry magnetic separation, crushing and wet magnetic separation with application. After finishing of works on modernization of factory complex and introduction of new industrial objects, manufacturing of marketable products of the Association (concentrate, pellets, briquettes) reaches 20 mln. t per year, which makes it possible to reach the new development stage among ore mining industrial enterprises.
