Abstract

There were experimentally obtained the diagrams of distribution of contact friction forces and specific pressures by deformation site length for the stripes, made of aluminium and its alloys of the duo mill 180. The influence of front and back tension was defined together with roughness of rollers and different diameters of rollers on contact friction forces and specific pressures. Diagrams of contact friction forces and specific pressures are distributed ununiformly by the length of deformation center. Minimal value of specific pressure is observed on strip,s entry and leaving from deformation center. Generally, the maximum value is in the section, closed to neutral. Increasing of value of back specific tension leads to decreasing of complete metal pressure on rollers. In the time of rolling in rollers with smaller roughness of surface (Ra = 0.26 m (polished)), specific pressures are decreased, in comparison with specific pressures, obtained in the time of rolling in rollers with bigger roughness of the surface (Ra = 0.45 μm). In the time of rolling in different diameter rollers, the pressure is decreased in comparison with pressure, obtained in the time of rolling in rollers with equal diameter. In the time of rolling of aluminium samples with 3.0 mm thickness, 25 mm width and ε = 50% reduction, and k = D2/D1 = 0.95 coefficient, the value of complete metal pressure on rollers is reduced by 1.15 times.
