Реферат

Since 1968 wire rod and rebar qualities have been produced at Badische Stahlwerke (BSW). Since 2013, two production lines with EAF, LF and casters are used to produce the billets from scrap, with annual production 2.3 mln. t of section billets. In two rolling mills the billets are rolled to bars, wire rod and rebar, with daily productivity as much as 7,360 t. During recent years the technological process has been improved along whole production chain — from scrap charging to power consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. Technological process has been corrected on the base of changing technical, economic and environmental conditions, and complex possibilities for its optimization have been found. The main aim of Badische Stahl Werke (BSW), in cooperation with Badische Stahl Engineering GmbH, was and is the most efficient operation of the plant for the effective production of these basic steel grades. In this article results of operational trials and the interaction of process parameters at the EAF are shown. The effect of technological parameters on operation results is analyzed. As an example, influence of carbonization in charge materials, or addition of hot-briquetted iron (HBI), or hearth wear in an electric arc furnace on production process are examined.
