Retention of competitive advantages of companies in the period of Russian economy stagnation requires mutual actions of the social partnership parties: government; trade unions, protecting employee’s interests; employers. Efforts should be aimed at implementation of investment projects for creation of highperformance workplaces and workforce productivity increase. Only based on this measures, additional increase of salary and social support of employees can be achieved. However, studying the information, provided on the IX Congress of Federation of Russian Independent Trade Unions, the authors were not able to see the trade unions’ understanding of the necessity to strengthen the trust relationship between social partnership parties and increase of dependence between labor remuneration and labor results. In the framework of dignified labor, outlined in the report of the Chairman of Federation of Russian Independent Trade Unions as a requirement for stable growth, there was no place for workforce productivity. This article contains the data of non-ferrous and ferrous industry, justifying the dependence of salary level increase on workforce productivity. The provisions of Industry Tariff Agreement (2014–2016) are provide to support such dependence. This article describes the problems of financing of enterprise reconstruction and the priority of investments in high-performance workplaces to increase the living standards of employees. The examples of socially responsible business behavior are given, including recommendations, accounting the crisis period factors in the activity of mining and smelting industry in social-labor relationship system. The article may be interesting for top managers and experts of HR companies, and for the managers of primary trade union organizations.
