It is described that structure and volume of consumed rolled products as well as technical requirements for its production have changed in Russia in the end of XX — beginning of XXI century. It is connected with appearance of the new commercial and household products that are oriented on a narrow specialization and usage of relatively small amounts of rolled metal from quality steels and special alloys. The specialists of All-Russian Scientific and Research Institute of Metallurgical Machinery have developed during last 10 years the technologies and specialized equipment for rolling of small parties for special usage, among them: – rolling complexes for manufacture of section, strip and sheet products made of special steels and alloys; – regional casting and rolling complex with small productivity (200/000 tpy) for fabrication of reinforced bars; – tube rolling mills for production if precise tubes for power engineering; – specialized skew rolling mills for hollow reinforced bars and grinding mills. |
