Power production, generating and transporting are the actual problems of modern industrial development. In this connection such material as steel is irreplaceable at present time and in the nearest future. It is shown that steel should correspond to certain challenges in power production both by usual methods and using renewable power sources. Strong and permanent demand on stainless steels is also analyzed.
