Abstract |
The partial least squares structural equation modelling method (PLS-SEM, PLM-PM) has recently gained increasing distribution as an information base for management decisions, in marketing, strategic and operations management, organizational research. Social significance of copper industry enterprises is considered as an indicator, reflecting company’s contribution to the development of territories where their production capacity and (or) parent companies are located. Theoretical and practical aspects of PLS-PM modelling for that indicator are considered. Based on the company activities research, a PLS-PM model of social value of business was constructed for JSC “Uralelectromed” to determine the factors that have the greatest impact on its change. The model is represented graphically. The received data are interpreted. The PLS-PM modelling under review is based on the specially implemented representative survey of 25 economists form scientific organizations and key companies of the region experienced in theory and practice of social significance analysis and estimation. The constructed PLS-PM model allows to formulate a hypothesis about the possible use of analytical data to form key management procedures of the social significance control at different levels: from company to local and regional authorities. |
