Abstract
The author delineates the regulatory and legal framework of radiation safety in Tajikistan. Research findings on uranium concentration from waste and raw materials are reported. The article describes basic functions of the Agency for Nuclear and Radiation Safety at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.
