The article depicts the initiation and growth of the Tajik Technical University. The educational and research activities of the University, its connection with the foreign universities and training of scientific and pedagogical staff are characterized. The author specifies the top-priority objectives of the University and describes the successive performance in re-equipment of training and research laboratories and in socioeconomic environment.
