Реферат

The project “Concept of Development of Erdenet Mining Corporation (Mongolia) for 2016–2025” has been elaborated by the specialists of Scientific and Design Association “RIVS” under the order of the Corporation. The strategic target of the Concept is to determine the optimal production capacity of the Corporation, with the best economic performance and environmental efficiency, based on the latest achievements in the field of mining and processing of base metal ores. The Concept project includes such provisions as: expansion of ore and raw materials supplies base, increase in the annual production capacity from 32 to 40 Mt, cutting-down of cost of marketable product, enhanced completeness of extraction of useful components, re-equipment and reconstruction of current mining and processing plants. The capital investment to reach the preset level of production capacity totals USD 250 million. The key lines of investment are: modification and modernization of equipment at the processing plant and introduction of the cyclical-and-continuous technology in the open pit mine. The implementation of the Concept provisions will enable enhanced return of investment by 37% with the payback period not more than 4–5 years long. The effectuation of the Concept will allow the Corporation to carry out rational field development.
