Abstract
At present time technological models are widely distributed in rolling production. The lecturers of the steel conference in Germany presented the new approaches and technical solutions for improvement of different engineering tools in manufacture of hot and cold strip or heavy plate. It is based on usage of digital technologies, e.g. intelligent heating procedure for efficiency rise in annealing and hot dip galvanizing operations or cooling simulation. Such approach allows to improve properties of rolled material and to optimize technological cycle in general.
