Abstract | Concluding the Paris agreement on atmosphere protection, 195 cpuntries take the pledge to lower the Earth warming caused by emissions of greenhouse gases. This agreement worries the metal producers because it didn’t determine the aims having mandatory international force. Therefore European and especially German metallurgy is very anxious about its competitiveness. It seems to be necessary not to put additional expenses on this industry in conncection with emission legislation and environment protection in order not to deteriorate its positions in the markets. The problems of coherent climate protection and position of Eurofer on these problems are considered. |
