Abstract | A staged methodology for eliminating redundant q bonds in planar mechanisms has been proposed. During operation, such mechanisms cannot function without harmful resistances, which leads to increased wear of the contacting surfaces of parts and, as a result, to a decrease in the efficiency and increase in energy consumption for the technological cycle. Not only the connections necessary for movement transmission appear in them, but also the connections that impede the free relative movement of the links during the mechanism operation, which are called the redundant connections. In this paper, we propose a method for creating redundant-free on connection mechanisms, containing several stages. In the first stage, the structure of the mechanism is selected, in the second, a structural analysis of the studied redundant mechanism by links is carried out, in the third, the number of redundant links is determined, in the fourth, the solution for their complete or partial elimination is determined. In the final stage, a number of kinematic pairs of higher classes to replace the hinges in the structure of the mechanism as a whole is determined, decomposition of the structure of the mechanism into contours and fragments is executed, particular solutions in each decomposition, then complex solutions of decompositions are found. Complex and general solutions are compared, coinciding ones are selected, a system of equations is compiled, which allows to determine the location of kinematic pairs. The developed technique has been applied to create the adaptive structure of the press actuator. |
