On October 8-10, 2019, in Vyksa, on the basis of JSC Vyksa Metallurgical Plant, the XII International Congress of Millmen was held, which was attended by 232 specialists — representatives of metallurgical enterprises, research institutes and universities, as well as manufacturers of metallurgical equipment from Russia, Austria, Belarus, Germany, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic. At plenary meetings and in five sections, the participants heard and discussed 98 reports on various lines of hot and cold sheet rolling, section rolling
and tube production, operation of rolling rolls, general issues in the theory of rolling processes. Within the framework of the congress, the 100th anniversary of the scientific school of NITU MISiS metal forming chair was celebrated.
