To improve the operational reliability and ease of maintenance of the VDN-18 fan in the slab caster section of the electric steel-melting shop of Ural Steel, JSC, it is proposed to replace the electromechanical drive of the axial guide vanes with a pneumatic drive. A pneumatic scheme and a design of a modernized drive of a guide vane have been developed, in which the air supply is controlled by means of a pneumatic cylinder operating from the shop line of compressed air. As a result of the reengineering of the fan VDN-18 at the site of the slab caster of the electric arc furnace shop, it was possible to simplify the design of the axial guide vane drive and reduce the complexity of fan maintenance and repair. Replacing an electromechanical drive with a pneumatic drive increases the reliability of the air supply to the process equipment when various types of fuel are burned. Calculations show that the implementation of design solutions does not require large capital expenditures, and as a result of the implementation of the proposed measures, production costs will decrease by about 6 rubles / ton, the annual economic eff ect will be about 8.7 million rubles, the payback period does not exceed 2 months. |
