Abstract

It is shown which principles should be adhered to and in which directions digitalization should be carried out in order to make it a tool for managing a mining system, at any given time providing a subsoil user with an optimal set of technological, organizational and technical reactions to changes in the external or internal environment. With regard to the mining systems, taking into account their essence and structure, the management levels are identified, which is the key principle of digitalization, and each level includes: design, project implementation, control of the result and adjustment of the project. The structure of the management of a mining system is proposed, which involves division of the management components into levels and their characterization. It is found that the management levels form a hierarchy, from a mining system as a set of fundamental decisions on the development of a lithosphere site to technological processes and structures, and, further, to specific operations and, if necessary, to individual units of equipment. The number of the levels corresponds to the comprehensiveness of the system structure. At the same time, the management levels are described by: the goals, conditions and decisions already made, perceived on the upper level and, in turn, transmitted to the lower levels; the design and control technologies; a set of data, necessary for the design and subsequent control, specific points and the data reading frequency; the duration of the project and the frequency of its updating.
