Abstract

Mining is one of the most crucial and essential industries in the economy of a country. A unique program solution is proposed to enable automation of calculations during mining. The author puts forward a concept and a prototype design of such program which ensures automated calculation of several parameters at once. The current version of the program has four main windows; one window is a home base window, and the three other windows are for the calculations. It is supposed that the use of the program can automate routine operations and reduce the risk of errors in case of miscalculations. Furthermore, the use of the cloud technologies, machine learning and deep learning, processor modeling and artificial intelligence in the mining art will later on allow development of flexible control systems capable of self-learning and adaptability toward improved reliability of measurement information and error forecasting. This will enhance efficiency and safety of production processes, elevate qualitative indicators and ensure cost effectiveness of mines. The author has also confirmed the hypothesis on minimization of errors and on simplification of mining operations with the help of a customized software. Automation of parametric calculations is a key objective on the way toward the higher quality and efficiency of the mining industry. The success achieved in the implementation of the prototype program proves the need for continuing the research and to add the application with the tools for calculating other parameters.
