Abstract

Исследовано строение осадочного чехла Мезенско-Бело морско го региона. Основной отличительной чертой Мезенской синеклизы является трехслойное строение осадочного чехла, сложенного породами верхнего протерозоя, венда-кембрия и палеозоя. При небольшой мощности вендско-кембрийской и палеозойской частей осадочного чехла, перспективы нефтегазоносности которых оцениваются крайне низко, мощность средневерхнерифейских отложений составляет на суше 3–5 км, а в акватории достигает 6 км и более, что позволяет оценивать их как самостоятельное направление исследований. Обработка результатов бурения скважины Средне-Няфтинская 21 позволила получить более системное представление о строении древних толщ рифейского возраста.
