Experience of development and introduction of quality management system in research and design-exploratory institute Yakutniproalmaz of ALROSA Co. Ltd. is presented. The main development cycles are shown; the procedure of realization of the process approach, determination of indices and criteria of processes efficiency; organizational methods of support, improvement and development of quality management system at large mining institute are presented.
