Abstract | A device for separating a silver-zinc capacitors cathode filling paste from a wire-gauze has been designed. The device incorporates an activator consisting of two drums mounted in parallel one over the other with a vertical movement of the drums. The cylindrical surface of one drum carries protrusions in the shape of tenons with rounded heads, the other drum having an elastic lining. The device provides separation of filling paste in an amount of up to 99.9% without destroying the wiregauze. The purity of metal silver obtained from the filling paste amounts 99.9 wt %. |
