The review of application of machinical operation of ores at the mining enterprises of the Russian empire in the beginning of XX century is made on the basis of the analysis of various sources, mostly which there were pre-revolutionary numbers «Gorny journal». Application of dressing methods for copper, lead-zinc, tungsten ores, raw materials of ferrous metals, nonmetallic minerals and coal is shown.
