ArticleName | Rise of efficiency of production of high-strength stabilized reinforced bars for railway sleepers |
ArticleAuthor | V. Lebedev |
Abstract | The paper observes the problems of efficiency rise in production of high-strength stabilized reinforced bars 9.6 mm in diameter for up-to-date railway sleepers. Efficiency is defined here as degree of correspondence of qualitative properties of fabricated products to the requirements of standard technical documentation. Reological properties of new steel grades (85KhFYU and 85FYu) are examined and deformation conditions for technological processes are simulated. Improved technological routes for drawing of reinforced bars in direct drawing mill are developed. Putting into practice of results of these investigations allowed to decrease substantially number of discrepancies in finished products with standard requirements and to rise efficiency of reinforced bar manufacture. |
