Abstract It is shown in this work that 0.339 MnO • 0.113ZnO • 0.548Fe2O3Mn—Zn ferrites grown by codeposition of carbonates and containing copper, magnesium or nickel oxide additions with bismuth oxide have low 100 oC specific magnetic losses compared to room temperature losses. These results are accounted for by the effect of these oxide additions on the crystallographic magnetic anisotropy constant of the material.
