Abstract | For the specific conditions of the PA «Belaruskali» slime ponds — their location in the mining operations subsidence zone and aggressive brines accumulations — it is proposed the geophysical method to control the walling dams stability, the method is based on separating the brines increased filtration zones in the dam body relating the flexible wave speed change, grounds specific resistance and natural electric field potential. The method allows in sufficient time in advance and promptly to determine the intensive filtration zone and to take technical decisions for preventing the dams destruction( deformation). |
