Abstract | Substantiation of necessity of production of sorbents with coarse grain and resistant to mechanical effect is presented. Technological properties of ionites with grain size >1 mm are not worse than those of ionites with more fine grain, but also exceed them in some parameters. Usage of sorbents with grain size >1 mm in technological scale makes it possible to increase productivity of operating sorption plants by 1.3-1.5 times for pulp and to cut expenses for ore comminution in productions facilities where high degree of grinding is required in the next leaching processes. Kinetic properties of ionites with coarse grain size show, that one-time charge does not increases during countercurrent aeration from pulp with their usage and increase of ionites specific consumption is not expected accordingly. |
