Abstract | An effect of the operating conditions for the electrolytic magnesium production on magnesium current efficiency was investigated. According to the operation analysis results for pilot scale and commercial magnesium electrolytic cells, an interdependence of the process parameters with electrode current density had been set up. Selection of operating parameters of electrolysis according to preset electrode current density makes possible the increase of power yield by 4–8%. |
