Abstract

Results of development of baking technology of waelz-oxide in the tube-type furnace (41,0х2,5) of the Chelyabinsk zinc plant are resulted. Technology key parametres are presented. The technological scheme is resulted. Baking of waelz-oxide is one of widespread technologies of its preparation for hydrometallurgical processing till now. Its advantages are oxidation of sulphides, organic reducers in waelz-fumes, chlorine and fluorine removal. The waelz-oxide preliminary subject granulations for reduction of mechanical dust-out from the rotating furnace and quantity caught secondary fumes, intensifications of baking Process.
