Abstract
Progressive technologies and equipment are created as a result of fruitful collaboration between technologists and designers. The paper presents the examples of prospective developments made by All-Russian Scientific and Research Institute of Metallurgical Machinery (VNIIMETMASH) illustrating tight links between technologies and constructions of machines.
