The state of mineral and raw material base of gold in constituent units of the Far Eastern Federal Territory has been considered, the main objects of gold ore have been termed. Causes of substantial difference in scales of gold production in different constituent units have been described and insufficient level of organizing-economical conditions of development of deposits has been mentioned. The paper informs about necessity of activation of forecast-prospecting and exploration works in the nearest years in order to strengthen the base of gold raw materials and except prospective possible crisis events in operation of gold mining industry.
