Methods and example of power engineering evaluation of intensification of natural air exchange in the quarries are presented. This evaluation substantiates unavailability of technical methods proposed earlier and directed on destruction of inversion layer and ventilation of quarry areas or separate zones. Such methods require search and development of new techniques and technologies for atmosphere normalization in deep quarries.
