Abstract | Certain technological development of HTSC ceramics YBa2Cu3O7–δ, which were in progress at the Institute in Physical-Technical problems some time ago, are described briefly. A technique of secondary sintering ("resintering") of this ceramics in the eutectic melt 3BaCuO2 +2CuO (3B2C) essentially reduces the volumetric fraction of inter granular media, and improves superconducting properties of bulk ceramic samples. In its turn, a technique of "painting" a substrate Y2CuO5 (Y211) with 3B2C-composition allows one to obtain superconducting films with the thickness up to 200 microns. The films with good shielding properties are steady in the environment and may be of any arbitrary shape. High-Tc SQUIDs are one of useful applications of this type of technology. |
