The analysis of placing of the main open-cast mines in Russia on extraction of granite blocks is presented and logistics of their delivery on stone processing factories taking into account the developed tariffs for transportation, the prices for blocks and end products from them. Possibilities of the further development of competitive business on opening of deposits of natural stone and production the products claimed by the market from it are presented.
