Abstract | The technique of crucible melt of products with sophisticated content with concentrating of precious metals in lead collector has been development. Natural reducing agents of test sample are organic carbon and sulphides for lead reduction from yellow lead have been used. The experimental data about reducing ability of elemental sulphur, dust, graphite, sulphide sulphur of copper-nicel concentrate of ore from Sykhoy Log deposit have been obtained. It has been established, that reducing ability depends on correlation of reducing agent and yellow lead in the charge. The practical control of obtained graphical and mathematical correspondence during analysis of standard samples and proof samples, recognizing content of gold and platinum metals has been realized. Mechanical losses of collector and precious metal losses with slag have been observed with considerable excess of reducing agent. It has been shown that losses of platinum metals and gold owing to volatilization of sulphur- and carbon-bearing products during crucible oxidizing and low reducing melts have not occurred. |
