Huge resources of drag turf in Russia have been presented as powerful and effective resource potential for development of small-scale power generation. The geomechanized method of turf extraction without  preparatory deposit dewatering and technical complex of processing of extracted turf hydraulic fluid with  production of fuel turf pellets have been proposed. The ecological and social-economical expediency of rebirth and development of fuelturf branch has been shown.
