This issue contains an overview of materials concerning the main directions of development of the global nuclear market, which create a background for the advancement of the Russian nuclear industry. The forming of energy ‘giants’, like in the USA, is also planned in other regions. The attempts to create small and medium NPPs have set a trend as well. The underwater placement of a power unit demonstrates an attempt to escape the traditional geopolitical schemes of the nuclear facilities deployment.
