Abstract | About 1200 tonnes per year of silicon screenings have been formed during crystalline silicon production in Russia. They aren't suitable for commercial realization in aluminium metallurgy on account of low level of screenings adoption in melt. Therefore they come back in their own production to silicon-production plant with great losses. The paper has been presented pressing technology of silicon briquettes with other metal powders as weighting agents. This technology allow to involve silicon screenings with smaller losses. |
