The history of creation and development of mine "Oktyabrski" of Transpolar Division of JSC "MMC ''Norilsk nickel" processing the sulphidic copper-nickel ores of Octobrskoe deposit are presented. The deposit mineral-raw-material base, technology of opening, ventilation and water outflow system, preventive measure of mountain bumps, the organization of explosive works, prospects of reconstruction of mining production are considered.
