Abstract
The results of investigations of mechanical properties of bed rocks and its roof as well as correlation between mechanical properties and geological structure of rocks are presented. It is proposed to use these results of investigations in calculations for designing the type and parameters of fixing of mining excavations, in development of measures for decrease of dynamic appearances. It is also proposed to take the obtained data into account when preparing standard technical documents.
