Abstract
State of the Russian mineral and raw material base of rare metals is analyzed. The main problems in this field are observed: it is lack of sufficient Re and TRY reserves and low quality of balanced reserves of Li, Nb, TR, Zr, Cs. The conclusions about possible strategy of usage and development of the mineral and raw material base of rare metals in Russia are presented.
