Importance of mineral and raw material potential of the Global ocean in solving the problem of providing mankind with such valuable components as copper, manganese, nickel, cobalt, rare earth metals is shown. Parameters of ferromanganese concretions and cobalt-manganese crusts are presented, as well as the places of their deposition, distribution of sections registered by different countries.
