Abstract
The results of monitoring of stone processing enterprises and analysis of causes of non-efficient usage of natural stone resources are presented. As a result, Russia should import essential part of granite blocks. Measures of legislative stimulation of usage of the earth bowels and investments in this industrial branch are proposed.
