Abstract | The aluminothermiс reduction of oxide calcium and oxide (carbonate) lithium was examined on experimental and industrial experiment vacuum electrothermic equipments developed by the company «Vac ETO». X-ray diffraction structure analysis methods demonstrate that reduction of oxides appears with intermetallic phases of Al2Ca and AlLi. At reductive temperatures these phases present as melt. However on X-ray picture there is not a supersaturated solid solution Al–Ca by quenching from liquidity of melted Al — 33,8 % (at.) alloy, but the Al2Ca phase. The constructive solutions were suggested in creating industrial equipments for oxide calcium and oxide (carbonate) lithium aluminothermic reductions, besides regimes of developing the process, by which the charge (briquettes) is remaining solid within the whole cycle. |
