| Реферат | Under the name of X-Cast, integrated plant solutions are developed and implemented for continuous casting. The core element in these solutions is the ISC (Intelligent Slab Casting) systems package which offers a combination of innovative technologies. These include the DSC dynamic solidification control system, optimized secondary cooling, dynamic soft reduction in the strand guide system by means of Cyberlink segments, and mould monitoring with breakout warning system. The following report presents the technologies and their advantages and, with the aid of reference examples, explains the results in respect of productivity, dimensional range and slab quality. |
