Abstract | The problems of forming compounds of cyanic-hydrogen acid (cyanides) in blast furnace processes are observed in the paper. Presence of cyanides is noted in blast furnace slimes at several metallurgical works. Analysis of thermo-dynamical stability of cyanides in different temperature areas of a blast furnace has been undertaken using thermo-dynamical simulation of their formation process. The main factors of lowering cyanide level in blast furnace slimes and during smelting are determined. |
