| Abstract | Comparison of technical conditions for piercing of continuously cast billets in helical mills with different volumetric location of axes of rolls and billet is undertaken. This comparison was based on parameters of cyclic forming that allowed to suggest that Odquist parameter characterizes processing of cast structure, while accounting of deformation resistance decreases effect of thermomechanical diversities. The advantage of usage of cone rolls for quality of final structure is revealed. |
