| Abstract | The thermal effects of a ladle change are investigated in a water model (scale 1:3) using laser-optical methods (PLIF, DPIV). The Froude and the Richardson number are kept as the characteristic number. The results show that temperature induced buoyancy forces dominate the flow field inside the tundish. |
