Abstract | The paper covers studies of the rolling technology of billets with continuously increasing reduction; the new technique for calculation of power and force parameters in designing of reducing and heavy plate reverse rolling mills for iron and steel industry and nonBferrous metallurgy. Implementation of the proposed rolling technology at industrial mills provide increase of total reduction during two adjacent passes by 1.6 times and more and, respectively, increase of productivity. |
