| Abstract | Since the beginnings of the industrialization, steel has been an indispensable basic material for a wide range of industries, including electrical engineering, construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, road vehicle engineering, metal forming and metal goods industries. Throughout industrialization until the present day steels have formed the basis for many innovations in the steel-using industry and likewise has the Steel Institute VDEh throughout this time provided a platform for joint developments in steel technology. |
