| Abstract | In order to meet advanced requirements, various constructive and technological measures were taken for the RH refractory at ArcelorMittal Eisenhuttenstadt. Structural alternations, changes regarding snorkels and vessel service and in particular a modified slag management lead to a reduction of gunning time and to an increase of the average snorkles life time by a third. |
