Abstract | Sorption processes are widely used in chemistry, hydrometallurgy and other industrial areas. Efficiency of sorption process depends largely on kinetic characteristics of used sorbent. Fiber sorbents have been widely used in industry. Specific surface of fibers is larger by two orders than surface of granulated polymer sorbents. And sorption rate by fibers is quicker in several times, than by some granulated polymeric sorbents. During gold extraction by granulated ionites equilibrium has been fixed for 10 hours and more, but fibers for 15–20 minutes. Fiber sorbents is more effectively used for finally water and gas cleaning from alloys, for valuable and toxic materials extraction. The target of the work is researching of general relations of silver sorption from cyanide solutions by fiber sorbents and fiber material choosing for silver extraction from industrial cyanide wastes. The conclusion was done, that pyrazole-bearing fiber sorbents is prospective for silver extraction from cyanide solutions with high content of iron, copper, zinc and nickel. The scheme of saturated fibers regeneration has been developed in laboratory conditions. |
